I can say for 100% that the sleeve eagle, raute and cufftitle are fine originals. The tabs look good also, I've never studied these straps so can't comment on those.

the tunic himself is not the right cut for an SD Man .

it's either for restoring an M40 tunic for W-SS......

Clint is right, the tunic does not have the correct cut. The lower bag pockets being the most notable error.

The collar also seems somewhat narrow and the back is missing the traditional slit found in nearly all TR era German tunics.

I'd say this is a converted post war West German police tunic.

Also, the SD were not combat units, they were security units.
