              Its very difficult to describe but if I said it's a peppery damp mildew smell
              with a touch of sweat would you all understand that ?

                  This is what Im talking about, this is how they should look like. I guess it demands more work trying to preserve it though.

                          Congrats on the new purchase. A question comes to mind......the thread on the backside reminds me of a lot of Dachau pieces I have seen , yet this is probably tunic removed ?

                            Most of my tabs are kept in a clear plastic pocket
                            with a sleeve of white cardboard and a small bag of silica gel
                            Especially the bullion
