Looks to be a very nice cuff.. & not one that comes around too often. It's rather pricey, but again, that goes back to it not being one you see everyday..

Good luck! & if you decide to grab it, then congrats..

Nice cuff and as mentioned from a reliable Canadian dealer. Have had good success with them. Enjoy it, it's a real one-looker.

When you consider how much these were going for a few years ago I think this is quite reasonable. Nearly all of these bands are mint - very rare to encounter a tunic removed one. Congratulations!

Thank you for the comments every one.
Anymore? The letters A and S look different to other originals i have seen.

                  Hi,

100% original "Das Reich" cuff title.
This is the more common variant, with grey letters.
A variant with the same font exist in whiter letters (TomH have the grey and white variants), which is more hard to find.
A variation in font also exist.

                  See You

                    Excellent cufftitle!
About the one with white letters, I remember that when the white Theodor Eicke turned up, it was said it was for officers, and the gray for EM and NCOs. I donĀ“t know. More likely just another version?

                        Hi,

about the letter color variants of some cuff titles, the "officer" explaination can be right, but other too for example a) too costly to produce or maybe b) the letters were too shiny (which may have been a problem in field or for Himmler etc).

If i'm right, only three "shiny/white" cuff titles variants in BeVo & BeVo-like exist : "Theodor Eicke", "Das Reich" and "SS-Feldgendarmerie" ("BeVo-like", this one is not very evident imo).

                        See You

                            Hi Vince,
Interesting actually. I think I remember examining a cuff title Adolf Hitler Bevo satin gray and another white matt, the same as the Theodore Eicke you present. There must be others. The same is true of many other Bevo insignia such as eagles, skulls, collar tabs, etc. I do not think it's intended specifically for officers. I would think more of variants, depending on the artificial silk thread available. One can imagine it by examining the Das Reich which is the perfect illustration, the thread is really gray, it is the only one to my knowledge that presents this characteristic which is also found, we must not forget, on the Eagles and oak leaves of the panzer berets, from 1940. Interesting subject to be developed.
                            Cheers
                            Andrew
