                          His former job was at the Quartermaster's but he was dismissed I suspect. They gave him a worn down misprint smock and they denied him boots, so he will get wet feet, hence the grumpy look. Just kidding of course, I do like the light print pattern contours on his Tarnjacke though.

                            I very much like that photo of the soldier asleep in the sidecar and you are right about the belthook! I haven't seen one Tarnjacke with extra holes for the belthooks yet, only in pictures. Maybe some could stick them through the arm opening on the brest, I don't no if that would be possible but this smock hasn't. It also crossed my mind that “some” of the ripped armopenings on the early smocks may have had a selfmade belthook opening, but that's big guessing of course. Nice drawing by the way!
