                    As the war progressed this process got confused with odd ball sewing jobs.
                    But m38 m 40 is consistent.

                        Owen, I'm speechless! These pieces are precious artworks for sure. Thanks again for sharing.

                        What drives me mad sometimes is the stichting. You have greenish, black and off white stitching... and there are different drawstring holes stitching as well. Is there a philosophy behind these anomalies?

                          The different sewing styles are something that also makes me wonder.
                          The earlly sewing is 100 miles apart from late war.
                          The jacket should be treated as a work in progress and was improved upon.
                          THe eyelets show different styles and can be from different factories and their access to machines or not.
