    Estand Totenkopf field post

    Hi,

something else that needs to be discussed: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=922514

The stamp is rather "interesting" - especially as the letter is dated 1942 and the divison was transformed into a Panzerdivision only by 1943.

    Fake stamp of course...

Well, all this is rather surprising for me, considering I bought it in June 2014 from Klaus Butschek auctions, whom I have done business before without any problems.

Do anyone know its policy in this kind of situations? Three years is a long time I suppose. Only a lifetime warranty could save the day.

        Sal,

This is unfortunate. From all reports, Klaus is a stand-up guy. He vets a lot of his stuff on the WAF before listing. I'm sure if you explain the circumstances, he may be able to work something out with you. GL

                Hi,

this is a common Wehrmacht Feldpost letter that is "pimped" with a fantasy (and ugly) SS stamp to increase the value.

                See You

                        An update.

I returned the letter to Klaus and he gave me a full refund, even though the sale was some years ago. I appreciate his gesture. He is a credit to the hobby.
