      Thanks fellas. The shade of wool is the greyish type, which seems to have enjoyed more use with SS uniform manufacturers.

                  Thanks for posting that, Moby. At a minimum, it shows this firm was likely in business and was a real firm in 1934. I appreciate the posting, and the comments from those followers of these type of tunics.

                              Robert, more of a private sale/dealer. The seller bought the tunic, several flags, and a few edged weapons from an estate sale years ago. This tunic was in the group; the auctioneer refused to provide family contact information at the time. Thanks for looking at it.

                              No great story, just the tunic as it stands.

                                I got once als a private tailored "DF" NCO from Munich Lodenfrei. Very favored examples for NCO's.
