    Different version Das Reich

Just spotted a new version of the Das Reich cuff title in BeVo at least I have never seen this one before. Its for sale at estand. It might be possible that is made by the same manufacturer as the Nederland in BeVo. Comepare the a's and e's.... Non folded ends...
Very different S as well from the normal Das Reich in Bevo.

Reichsfunhrer SS also has a BeVo version that reminds a bit of this one.

Pics to compare with below and also posted whats the normal Das Reich cuff title in Bevo which comes in subdued Blue/grey and in white. (not my photo but one from the forum - dont remember who's). I got the subdued version of Das Reich though, but wanted to post both the normal known versions.

    Thoughts gentlemen?

    Cheers
    //Felix

P.s. Such a pity about the heavy abuse playing with matches of the cuff titles for sale.

Hi All. I am thinking about purchasing one of these. Just wondering if they are real? And if the damage affects the price much?

            Hi Felix,

The picture at the bottom is mine. One the blue/grey unissued which is a quite stiff band material and the second a tunic removed with a more conventional floppy feel to the band.

I have to say I would prefer the other bands more if they had serifs on the "a" and "s" of Das. Just my opinion.

Looks like someone got a bit too ambitious with the burn test on these...interesting cuff and tempting.

                    Hi all
Hole is not from the fire , but from rusty rivets ..... which the cuff titles were connected . Here are the photos from the find.

Very interesting ensemble. Do you know why and for what it was made ?

                        Hi all

Finding is not so old ( April 2017 ) I found during the reconstruction of on old farm house ,,Strap,, sewn and riveted from cuff titles Das Reich .
After dismantling and removing them I have a total of eight pieces cuff titles :-)
I do not know what to do and what a strap did someone do , but I suppose it is a post-war processing of military prey equipment.
In this location was between 1943-45 the training area ,, Waffen SS Böhmen,, South of Prag .

                        Best wishes

So are these been accepted as original?

Has anyone got a example with this font to compare? As they do not seem to match other standard Bevo types.

Sure those are original. There were more than one Bevo pattern - construction and materials are still identical between all of those. Its the same with Hohenstaufen cufftitles for example.
