Pre-War SS Hundefuhrer Patrol Photo....

1933 – 1936 private photo of two SS men on patrol serving as Hilfspolizie, one an SS Hundefuhrer. Note that the Hundefuhrer in the foreground is clearly not happy with the cameraman and is signaling with his right arm to “scram”.

My questions - what is the significance / meaning of the (rarely seen) “Double Chevron” on the Hundefuhrer’s right arm ??? Can anyone possibly make a positive ID on the Cufftitle ???

Insignia

The purpose of the lower double chevron on the right sleeve is to denote the position of Stabscharfuhrer (First Sargent). This insignia was later replace by double tress on both lower sleeves. Also known as “Der Spiess” (The Spear).

Pictured below is the replacement to the original insignia.

Anyone on the Cufftitle ???

I can see the reason(s) for the "Seela" physical resemblance comment...anyone know if / where Seela served time in the Allgemeine SS ??? (Seela served in the SS-VT in 1935)
