      Sure you know everything

Oh and I forgot to mention that it was me who resoldered the pins, I tried my best to make it look authentic. Money is what drove me to do that.

Who cares ! the TK is 100% right, if a pin was repaired (which I do not think it was) so what, you can and will never know.

P.S. if the buyer is concerned about this real TK's pin, he could always buy the fake now real three pronged instead

          What a nice discussion.

Who of you guys ever had soldered?

Who of you was at the factory back in These days?

          That head is top.
You should be lucky that there are prongs .

            Hi dhunter,
Wow it's amazing how thread after thread you just love to rake your muck into the discussion. We all get it. You don't like 3 prong skulls, rank tabs you can't get for a lower price after calling them fake, and people that won't do your "black light challenge" on black cloth.

All of that crap doesn't have to be brought up thread after thread.

Now back skull that started this thread. It's a great looking skull offered at a price that is not out of line these days.

Imo this is a great looking skull with original placed prongs.
I have no problem with the placement of the left prong. Most of them indeed were placed a bit higher but I think we have to understand that these prongs weren't attached by one and the same guy.
More people worked together in the workplaces at the same time and some of them probably had the habbit to place some prongs a bit lower.
And, Im with Eisvogel here... a repair soldering has indeed total other characteristics.
Imo its a damn fine skull which I wouldn't mind to have in my collection.

I certainly did not see any reason to suspect that this skull has had replaced prongs. Some of you may know that I have examined several hundreds of thousands of SS skulls over the years and have seen all sorts of things that are genuine but out of the ordinary.
That being said, there is absolutely nothing, imo, wrong with a prong being placed a bit higher or lower than the norm. Any part of a skull that is made by hand will vary every once and a while. Like I said, anything is possible, but "IF" it was repaired, then it's a perfect job in which no one could ever prove. So, why bother starting an argument that can go nowhere? Only Funia would be so quick to jump into a argument like this and try to stir up a fuss, but I can only hope that the majority of the members here already know what to expect from him and ignore.

                    Just my thoughts!
