Didnt had the veils 2 versions? A version with the springs in the band and the other with a sort of snap system?

There are several versions.

Something seems odd with the item for sale.

The old and new copies are good and have got better.

A real one is VERY fine in both texture-weight-.............and colors

Only a handful of individuals have made decent repros, all have been posted on this forum (including myself, if I may say so). This is not one of them.

This is probably the nicest original veil I've seen color-wise.

we can't discuss this mask, without having good and detailed photos....
structure, overstitching of seams, etc.
intuitively, I against this mask.

So far, I like what I see.

BTW, most collectors, including here on WAF, incorrectly call these "SS sniper veils". The title of this thread, as well as a Google search of "SS sniper veil Wehrmacht Awards" are proof.
