SS Ring for opinions

Hey guys, I collect mainly WW2 daggers, and know nothing about this type of thing. I bought a small collection of great period daggers and badges, and there were a few rings hanging in the case too. I'm guessing that this is a post war repro, but it has a lot of wear to it, the detail in the eagle head is worn off, and I'm not sure when a ring like this would have been worn so much post war.
So before I get rid of them, I would like to confirm if it's junk.
