interesting artifact that one Allied POW from of the various bombing operations over Romania took back in late Summer 1944 when they were repatriated to Italy.

This photo shows US airmen who were downed in Romania bringing back souvenirs from Romania when repatriated to Italy.
Why was there a black A-SS officers visor cap in Romania?
