The picture is not the best but I don't think the skull is real, it appears to be a cast piece. I am still learning so get further opinions.

I like what I see. Could be a good aluminium Deschler TK.
Better pictures are a must though.

I cannot comment on the eagle but he is not SS related.

Better pictures are certainly needed for this skull, however, I too, have some major concerns about it. Aluminum SS skulls are by far, the best faked and the most difficult to detect. The fakers have the ability to cast these extremely well and some with very convincing crimps. I don't know how they do it, but this includes aluminum M1/52, M1/24, S.P.40, and aluminum Assmann skull fakes that I have encountered. Just like with SS belt buckles, for some reason, aluminum ones are the nicest, but also the most dangerous. Can't be too careful and must study every single detail.

Anyway, I will wait and hope for better pictures before commenting any further, as this one could still go either way, imo, with these horrible quality pics.

As for the eagle, (although not SS), it looks like an original customs cap eagle, IMO.
I'm no expert on these, but have owned a few and these are not very rare or valuable anyway, so it's not a high risk item. I've not seen any high end fakes of common eagles like this, but if it is a fake, then it is certainly a high quality one, IMO.

        Just my thoughts,

        Chris

I don't believe that it stands much of a chance, imo. So far, I have found 7 flaws that are leading to this one being a cast reproduction. Still, I really hope that we can get some better photos, so that we can all know for sure what this is exactly.

Anyway, there certainly has been several new fakes going around lately.
Not long ago, this fake eagle was posted here. Well, I just went to a local military show last Friday and there was a guy that had about eight SS cap eagles for sale. At least three of them were reproductions, and one of them was this exact same M1/52 fake. Everyone should keep an eye open for these eagles,
as I am sure that there will be many more to pop up. Just like the one in this picture, it too, had no discs and as I suspected, it was much heavier than an original eagle.
