While checking it for some signatures ...my eye fell on this one on page #13:

SS-Ustuf SIPO Beslin(?) ''Sonderkdo. Benito Mussolini''

Anyone some info about this unit ?

The book is now up for a trade with some good dagger.

          Cheers

I'm not a documents guy, but this, imo, is a spectacular piece.

            Kameraden bis zum Ende!

It just goes to show the fervent belief these men had in the value of the SS motto.

            Thank you for posting!

Indeed, SS men for the life!

I think today many of them are gone.

This book was signed at the Ulrichsberg Treffen. Even my father signed it,... ;-) Those were the days.

                  Cheers, Yvo.

As some of the others have stated, great book and I followed the same concept.

I have Loyalty Is My Honour signed by (only) 76 WSS veterans, including over two-dozen RKTs (Kumm, Springer, Barkmann, etc.).

Had to stop when that became full and moved to a copy of Wenn Alle Bruder.

Some were obtained at Ulrichsberb, others at various Treffens, or home visits. There were others doing the same - getting books signed.

                      Good luck with the trade.

The stories those signature givers could tell...or have told. It's indeed sad that not much video taping was done with these men, that is IF they would have felt comfortable doing so. Those are the stories that interest me more than my own family's Allied history! Anyone know of good sources of video interviews of Waffen SS soldiers?? Preferably translated to English as my Deutsche is only decent at this time. Thanks in advance guys.

                        Regards, Frank
