I wanted to show the slip ons from the earlier types to the late war sets. All follow the similar pattern, but as the war progressed, the ciphers become of thinner embroidery. Some are perfect and some have minor embroidery flaws. Apparantly, the importance of insignia was second to the importance of the enemy closing in on you.
