    475/42 eagle and skull set

    Hello,

I just got this eagle and skull. The eagle looks like a good original Wagner, and from what I can see the skull is a good one.

    Any opinions would be appreciated.

    regards, Robert

Definitely a good wagner eagle and looks to be a nice deschler. But I'm not that good to be judging only by the front but some of the die flaws seems to be there. Between the eye-sockets for example.

Definate good eagle but the Deschler skull has been repainted and someone handled it before the paint was 100% dry and left a finger print.

The eagle is real, however, the skull is not, IMO. Skull has the typical casted nose and other features that are common amongst these fakes.

              IMO skull is not orginal.
Cast made witch typical for cast made skulls signs.
From the other way it is a gut copy of zinc Deschler

It would also be nice to see the back of the skull also if possible

I believe the skull is a definite original. It looks more like it got hit with something abrasive that made fine lines on it that a fingerprint, in hand, but it could be a repaint. The lines all go the same way, like a rub.

Thanks for looking them over, guys.

I think this is pretty clearly an original...

Both 100% original items and I do not see any repaint here
                      Congrats

I like that skull. What's the deal with the cap that they are (were) on? I would like to see that.

                          Sorry it was my mistake.
Now when I can see the back of the skull -no doubt skull is orginal.

Both good. The skull is imo not repainted, its a zink deschler with typical silver finish.
