No , the band itself is also a completely modern fabrication .

Made to decieve and quite well done = with a tight block pattern weave , but the thin & shiny silver-thread borders give it away .

Much easier to tell when in hand , I bought one of these repros just for comparison purposes .

And of course the nylon reinforcement on the back of the embroidery is just plain wrong .

While they are getting better, there are still many "tells" on the band, the embroidery, and the edge strands which give it away. I won't elaborate, but I will say that original SS cufftitles (for the most part) had a very soft, silky feel to them and they hang very limply when slung over a finger. I can feel the stiffness of this fake just from these pics. This has not been faked IMO in the past 50 years. Beware, however, original bands that have been re-worked with more desirable units.
