I believe that this one is a heavily corroded original, but would need much better pictures to confirm this. One in such condition can be very tricky without great pics.
I do not recall ever having seen a repro of this variation however, and breaks in the metal around the head on the back side appear correct. The finish looks to be there and prongs appear correct, which are unique to this variation, when speaking of eagles alone.
