He was glued on somewhere. Sometimes this was done in photo-albums or so...

Well done. These are horrifically rare and that one is a "one-looker". Sometime in 1940 Totenkopf tabs begin to first appear horizontal, but still with the Totenkopf facing to the left (same direction as vertical tabs). That is a killer. Literally.
