    Sos 2017

    For the collectors how was it this year 2017?
    Much on the market, prices?
    Was rare stuff offered? Any Sturmfahnen?

    Pls share your views, sightings and treasures

    A friend told me only a lot of ss insignia but delusional for.headgears tunics and cammo

      There was a reasonable amount of SS insignia at the usual tables but much of it was priced insanely (IMHO). As has been commented on the thread in the Shows and Local Chapters forum, not many Russians and not as many Europeans due to the strength of the dollar. Lots of eye candy - hopefully some of this will be posted.

      As ever the best bit of the show was meeting friends only seen once or twice a year for the social aspect along with the great food and bourbon in Louisville.

      This group of 11 Florian Geyer bands was interesting.

        This rare and early prototype of a hand embroidered cufffband for the Chicago sturmbann was available at a very reasonable price.....

          Neat pack! Incredible that it survied intact for 70 years.

            Missed seeing this. Very nice indeed!

            IMO the show was smaller then in past years.
