Please Help.. Real or Fake SS Sleeve Eagle

Just picked this up with a Krin Shield today at an Antique Shop. Looks to have some kind of white glue or adhesive on the back. Never seen this before. Please let me know what you think.. Thank You.. Johnny

Indeed a nice eagle. That residue on the back is to help against fraying, which is also a good sign.
Seen often on "Raute" late war trade sleeve diamonds.

Looks like it has stitch holes....visible on the reverse. Probably came off the same sleeve as the Krim shield.

              Its fine example of a mid-war sleeve eagle . . .

Very nice. I have an identical example from a Vet.

                    SS Sleeve Eagle

Thanks to all who replied!! The dealer also had other small group german items he probably purchased together with the sleeve eagle & Krim Shield. The other items were way over priced, which I had no interest in to begin with. A pair of fire police boards for $235.00, War Merit Cross for $150.00, single medical officer board $135.00.. The most valuable pieces I picked up, were the most reasonably priced! Too funny! $125.00 for the SS Sleeve Eagle & $135.00 for the Krim Shield. I had her call the dealer & got them both for $200 which I think was pretty good! Thanks again for the responses!!
