More to the point, these were made by both Czech and German factories - same cut, in large numbers by the amounts recovered (mainly from Naval bases).

Based on your research, what service and purpose do you believe these were made for? Because there were a lot of them produced.

From an in the EU found SS set with provenance, it's not mine so I don't want to share the differences. SS is not the mainstream for sur and an original SS leather set extremely rare.

Well, if you call it "just an observation", that you see the 3-pocket-type on hundreds of fotos, but only a handfull (IF at all) of this wrap style, and this handfull is the total of all 3 branches using tanks, or the talk to several vets about this outfit, or the writtern statements in both written history of LAH and HJ-divison how they aquired the 3-pochet-types - well, than its just an observation.
