SS police runes

Hi Guys

Thought I would show these that just came in as part of a small collection- they aren't the prettiest ones I have seen but have an unterlagen and appear to be authentic.

I am guessing due to the base colour not being police green these were cut from the tunic of a full SS member in one of the divisions not entitled to wear the runes at the collar?
