W-SS Infantry shoulder straps

Hi guys,

what's your opinion about this pair of infantry shoulder straps ?

They come with a minty late-war "SS-BW" coat.

I think these are replicas. The centered joining of the scraps on the reverse, wide-based tongues combined with wool piping, and slightly non-symmetrical rounded portion at the top of the boards would also put me off.

Are the piping ends correctly sewn into the base of the boards, or aare the ends of the piping slightly exposed instead of tucked into the seam?

Perhaps you could leave them on the minty late-war "SS-BW" coat until you find a nice original pair of late-war SS Infantry straps.
