Opinion for a friend please. Insignia seem ok to me, but want to hear others opinions about this tunic and assembly. Thanks.

The shoulder board ciphers do not look original. I see casting flaws on them. The positioning of the collar tab are odd, not following the neckline of the collar. The runic tab is odd and the litzen, on the rank tab, is sewn on very crudely. The positioning of a former cuff title, above the cuff, denotes a non SS cuff title, in my opinion.

There are just too many problems with this tunic.

Thanks Bob. Yes..most likely a repatched jacket, but is the ss collar tabs and shoulderboards original still?
The Jacket it self looks ok, and might have been ss used.
The shoulderboards cypers is questionable i understand.

I like the Jacket in its raw state(exclusive of insignia)
It is not a standard cut Model 1936,none the less it still looks original.
I do not like the configuration of the runic tab
And the rank tab looks a bit dubious
As for the shoulder straps, excluding the already defined fake cyphers,
will need more photos?

I do not like almost anything moreover angled runes and of course very bad cyphers. Imo not an ss tunic.
