SS BeVo Tab backing opinions

Got this tab in just wanted to check on the backing....seems flimsy?

Tab and backing are just fine. Usually there are several rows, that's all.

I am certain the backing was made in sheets or long strips and then cut to size. I suspect the tabs backed with a single thickness of gauze have a piece cut from near the edge or the end.
