A stupid question: the Turingen cufftitle was sewn only on the black uniforms?

I assume you mean "Thüringen"?

That was for Totenkopfstandarte 3 I believe, and is mostly seen on Black. However, I am not totally sure if they were around long enough as a Standarte to see the introduction of feldgrau uniforms to all branches of the SS.
