Now if these two are in the album you've got something special.

On a more serious note - if it shows pics of the liberation then I'd say the pics were taken by an American soldier rather than being found in a locker etc.. Whether he had a fetish for this sort of thing or did it out of spite or retribution to humiliate or punish them I think it's connected to his experience at the camp. She seems to be too well fed to be an ordinary civilian suffering the privations of war at that point. My vote is they were in some capacity connected to the camp and he was giving them a bit back.

1 The Germans woudn't leave trash laying about with all that free labor.
2 One has an officer buckle and the other an EM buckle.
3 The EM has the smaller 'officer sized' pistol.
4 Rather strange pins or whatever on the shirts.

        Interesting photo nonetheless.

          Interesting photo nonetheless.

The photo posted of the two SS women is from the movie "The Passenger".

I took it for granted that everybody knows they're post-war film stills.

I'm sorry but I have to ask ... How old are you ?

That photo is a very well-known still taken by British Pathe News following the liberation of the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp, the female guards came from the death marches from KL Auschwitz.
