Typical fake rank litzen strip, artificially aged to try and hide the glittery appearance they had.

Old fake, I have a pair of Hauptsturmfuhrer tabs from the same maker. I am using them and a nice Sieder sleeve eagle to create fake tunic. if you note these have two strands of twisted cord piping rather than the proper 3 strand.

Even the joining by the thread was a simple job to improve the question-ability
