I've noticed that the poorer quality repro TK buttons tend to have a more "Popeye-esque" lower jaw, while the better quality ones appear more traditionally proportioned.

And it wasn't used by the Totnkopfverbände alone.
It was used by all SS VT units on their black and some fieldgrey oversees caps.
