    Overcoat

Is this overcoat in SS cut? Straight cuffs. Never had hood that I can see.
Marked inside and lined with the gray cotton that I see in some ss tunics and 44 dot tunics.

Only Übermantel has this issue with french cuffs. There some other differences in SS overcoats

it lacks the hand warmer pockets and (sometimes present) the built in hood....
Some call those guard coats (wachmantel), not Over coat (ubermantel),
but this one I believe is SS based on it not having cuffs (simplified) and only has size stamps in a font I recognize on SS made
clothing and it lacks an RBNr stamp which you would expect in a Heer version which would have French cuffs...
Could be SS (camp) made. Any signs of a former sleeve eagle???

There are some M42s for SS that lack the cuffs, but only some.

I thought ss also. Hard to tell if it had eagle. If so removed a long time ago.
