    Some of the strangest SS insignia

    Well, that is something very strange.( I bet some of the answers I already know). They are all original pre -45 made and even exists some of the NSDAP Tresse. Seems the runes machine embroidered and are mirrored

          I have never seen anything like these before! Any pictures of uniforms / clothing in wear with this tresse?

              Interesting alright. The double swastika tress looks similar in form to the type used on lower political tabs, but with the runic embroidery mirrored that's tough. With a wreath or circle it could be for some type of sword knot, but with just the runes...I have no idea.

              They look period though. What did the tailor shop produce, any idea?

                My first thought was materials for the manufacture of sword/dagger/bayonet knots & such.

                  Was given a cigar box with some odds and ends militaria and in the box was a snippet of cloth resembling what's pictured. The piece of cloth was removed from something else and I had no idea on what its true purpose was. Then, someone posted a photo of either a flag or banner showing the edging used was the same exact snippet I had. Folded in half then sewn along the edges. It's my guess you have the same material used for that purpose.
