    Because the fakers have made more than one version/ edition of that fake trap, to try and take in as many buyers as they can.

      It looks to me like someone used some sort of bleach to age the insignia and to lighten the thread used to sew it...Probably a failed attempt to make the insignia sewing thread match that used in the hats manufacture.

        Interesting point,

        another possibility is that they have machine zig-zag the edge of the trap then glued it onto the cap.

            The hat may be OK (can't say for sure) but replaced insignia...I can't tell from the photos but maybe the rear of the hats lining was opened and hand sewn back up.The front section does not look like it was messed with.

              I got the cap for free from an estade and I have no heartbeat in
              caps, uniforms,awards,.... if other photos could help feel free to let me know
              what you need
