SS Drillich Tunic Opinions Please

Hi All,

Hoping to get some opinions regarding this SS marked Drillich Tunic.
IMO , I believe the tunic is original German period , however I don't know much about the ink stamped marking inside and also about the insignia , if being real, something tells me the insignia is post war applied with that style of zig zag stitch, but again I don't know if real and original to tunic.

Hi Nick,
That I don't really know , they do feel like something is behind them but can't tell unfortunately.
Do these look real to you , I have a good feeling with the tabs but not sure on eagle.
The other thing is the ink stamps , I've never seen something like this before.

As said, the eagle is a fake. Since sewn in the same manour as the tabs you can tell for sure that these were added post war.

I believe the drill tunic to be of Heer issue, the SS runes in the marking were added later IMO.

What do you know about the tunic with the SS ink stamp and the tresse around the collar. This tress is white in colour a lttle fuzzy in the photo but can make out the pattern in the diamond weave centre area.

The SS ink stamp looks to be all together with the size markings as one stamp, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure though if this is a genuine ink marking seen before.

Runic tab is fine but the rest is rubbish including the stamp ... the tresse is also an afterthought in my opinion.

SS runes on the marking has been "recently" added ...
You can't have a "M" München Heer Depot and unlogical runes together .

Thanks heaps to all for each contribution in the analysis of the insignia in relation to the tunic and confirming some suspicions I had about the insignia being post war applied and confirming if real or not.
