Danmark Cuff title help...

Colleagues,

I have the opportunity to acquire an original BEVO type/style Cuff title from a reputable source. I am looking for some feedback to set a monetary or retail value to the Cuff title.
Would someone please post an appropriate value and their reasoning? All responses are encouraged.

One of the rarest cufftitles. I bought one in Europe last year for 4.500,00 Euro.

Advice...

Hello Colleagues,

Thank you all for the posts; both private and public. I have received many posts regarding the setting of an asking price and value. I have had consistent costs of between $2000-$3000 US. The 4,500 Euro price seems a bit staggering all things considered. (I couldn't see this title in the ranks of an SS Oberbayern title regarding the price.)
A funny observation had to do with the quotation of prices. The offers I received in the $2000 range came from US collectors; the higher prices came from International collectors $2500 and up.
Perhaps supply and demand dictates this phenomenon...

4500 euro seems staggering but is real!

All BeVo-like 2 cufftitles are considered rare.

Helmut weitze has following on his present list:
Hitlerjugend: worn condition, 3800 euro
Norge: unused, 4000 euro

As "rkdek" mentions the BEVO like are very rare. And the Danmark version is even rarer the either the "Norge" or "Hitlerjugend".

Hence the price I paid – which I consider not to bad. In my years of collecting I have only seen 2 of the "Danmark" which were correct.

If someone has (in the past couple years) bought one for $2,000-$3,000 IMHO they either found the proverbial sucker, who didn't know what they had, or it is a fake - of which I have seen a few over the years,

I have no problems with the shortened "Danmark" ct you showed us. Looks like a textbook original to me.
