    The tress strip is not right, and constructed (folded) incorrectly.
    Possibly "field made"
    Still,I do not like this chevron.

      It almost looks like some sort of naval braid.
      I wouldn't classify the chevron as SS.

          I agree, I dont recognise it as German WW 2 military... Perhaps political or related to that
