Original piping and materials but strange making i've never seen before ?
A round button hole , not industially made ?
Very optimistic : local private made boards ...

I used to own a pair of artillery boards of that exact manufacture- I think that is one of the pair- is it offered as a single?
They were shown here before and best guess was original and made for screw in buttons possibly for tropical tunic. Original IMO but very strange variant.
