    SS Eagle on uniform cloth

      Hello Garth. If I saw this eagle sitting on a dealers table I would pass. I think it's a reproduction.

      Although, I keep looking at it and the areas that interest me are the head, wings and body... I just don't like that the detail of the swastika. The body look fat too.

        never seen anything like it .... this badge has been added to the cloth to make it seem real to the un-trained. The cloth might be original. But the rest is pooh. David

          Sorry Garth,looks like another one for Gary's reproduction sticky thread...as David says I've never seen one like this before.The backing doesn't look black either,obviously sewn to a piece of wool with intent to deceive.

              The way the eage is sewn onto the pice is very sloppy as well...

                I agree with David that the swaz and wreath look a bit funky on yours.

                I'd like to hear Gary Wood's opinion on these.
