I agree; I visit the area about half a dozen times a year and I would love to live there. The Ardennes is perhaps one of the most unspoilt western European battlefields still in existance. I think Savelot is my favourite.

Strange coincidence.

My "HOHENSTAUFEN" tunic shown above originates from the Victory Museum in Arlon, Belgium - they closed the museum in 1998 and sold their vehicles and other items including this StuG tunic.

By the way we, my family, rented a vacation house in Stavelot this summer, see attached, guess I have to go swimming in the river to find the StuG somewhere down the stream.......
