Kind of funeral flag for an SS member

Without a firm provenance I would give this a very wide berth ... unless it was extremely cheap and you felt it would add a certain 'je ne sais quoi' to your display room

Doesn't really look like a funeral flag. I've seen flags and banners used on Heer funerals, not on SS funerals, however period made photograps didn't show anything similar to this one.

I don't know at all if this was used during a burial ceremony or something like this. Only my guess as it was found in an estate of an undertaker in the brunswick area.

I have only ever seen SS funeral sashes .....
Made of taffeta material like this one I have on the forum
