If it glows brightly, that is not a good sign I have learnt... Sorry to hear about your friend, who undoubtedly has some savings money in these objects.
I just heard a saying about SS stuff, SS means originals are Seldom Seen... Thats what it means today...

Thanks guys, sorry about the delay in replying , so it looks like the eagle is bad too, any opinions on the old fighter chevron? Here is the Germania cuff title it glows quite brightly from the back but not from the front.

It is a sad thread, so far I have only told him his Horst Wessel cuff title is original, and that I'm still checking his other items. Not looking forward to telling him everything else in his collection is fake.



Second last item, his Wallonien title, this one does not glow at all under black light, could this one have a chance? I've ran out of time today so will post the last item the Camo trousers next week.

Thanks Ton, OK here is the last item, a pair of Camo trousers.They appear to be different to ones I've seen before, with just standard belt loops and a different type of buckle. No pocket to right hand side. Could these be a variation or has the owner just been totally ripped off?
