        Hello,

The Horst Wessel is a good original one.

        regards, Robert

Thanks Guys, that's better news, so should the inside border on all Bevo cuff titles look like the Horst Wessel one? i.e. a small line of dots rather than the thicker style on the Das Reich? Or can other Bevo titles have a different style from the Horst Wessel border and still be original?

Kenny, there are exceptions, but the vast majority of bevo woven cufftitles will have edging details (.....) like the Horst Wessel specimen.

Thanks Robert, here are another three Bevo cuff titles he has, but these don't have the dot pattern? Do any of these have a chance?

Theodor Eicke, Westland, and SS- Feldgendarmerie are all post was copies. SS -Feldgendarmerie was never made in this weave.

Thanks Bob, wow...... one out of five cuff titles is not really a good result, he paid top dollar for these.... there's still more which I will try to post next week, hopefully for some better news......

Sadly for your friend, his HW cufftitle, while genuine, is one of the least valuable SS cufftitles. Can your friend get his money back? Who was the seller?

He told me they came from several sources , I don't think he can actually remember what came from who as they were bought in 2002 but as originals. If next weeks items turn out to be bad too, I will suggest he joins here to look at this thread and let him decide what to do.

I agree; DR, TE, Feldgendarmerie, and Westland are all

                            Horst Wessel looks good. :thumbup

Sorry for your friend, but it's always best to research items before purchasing them. Not when you're planning to sell them.

If you need extra photos just let me know. First item is a Das Reich cuff title. Thanks Kenny
I apologize for being the fly in the ointment, but how can you sell his collection for him on the E-Stand? There is a very specific rule about not selling other people's items. I believe that it says that a person can be expelled for doing it. I suppose the reason for it is that if say, 6 months down the road, someone realizes that a piece is fake and they want their money back, you can't give it to them without taking a financial hit for you have already given the money to your friend. I am not implying any misdeed or bad motives here. I just don't want to see you get in trouble for trying to help the poor guy out. It looks like he already has enough problems with a lot of money sunk into repops.
