Ss dutch and est. shield on e-stand

    Hello,

I'd like to hear your opignions on these shields they don't match the ones i've seen that have been found in Dachau vet bring backs. I do have some doubts about these.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks guys! Learned something new. Usually these shields are seen with lots more white tread on the back. Is this an other version? Would like to find out and learn more about these.

The difference is the result of the thread tension on the bobbin, which are the threads on the reverse. Less tension leaves more of the bobbin thread exposed, from what I understand.

Study the thread type, the sheen of the thread, and the wool type for the base and you will see they are original.
