    LSSAH Skull Photo...

    Note the use of a cut-out skull from a collar tab on this fellow's overseas cap (sorry for the sh*tty quality of the enlarged photo)...

    It looks like its from a Totenkopf collar tab. I wonder why he couldn't get the right skull for his cap? Was it a late War job when everything was hard to get.

      I guess it was just a matter of taste... (and a good one)
      Just like some SS Officers wear Heer eagles on their sleeves or visors...

        I've seen a metal tk on a blank black tab before and that is how that vet took it off the ss soldier
