I know many feel the M 1/17 RZM code was not used on skulls. But, I have to say, if I saw this skull on a visor, and could not seethe back, I wouldn't question it. I have had several original and bad skulls but I am, in no way the expert many of our members are.

In the book ,,Inside the Allgemeine SS 1925-1945 " in the Chapter 25 -Badges this skull is posted as a reference second pattern skull.
I always wonder how it is possible
