It's proposed to be prototype of some sort, so I doubt it's marked. Same with the fechter and the sieger.

Why should this piece supposed to be a fake?

The detail is extremely bad for sure. I'd like to know what Dennis Porrell would say on this subject.

How could this come from the estate? Seems that would have been broken up long ago. Maybe it came from another collector. Would like to know more on the origin of this one.

Why would it be presumed correct?.

            Trying to ridicule yourself?

Fine - I stick to the fact that is that the Allach artists had not only the right but also did execute bronze versions of their created Allach products.

Not to forget that there are official Allach pieces both executed in bronze as well as porcelain or ceramic.

I think you have your work cut out for you here and on this piece in particular, and then you need to back up to executing bronze versions of their created Allach products.

Even if I was to wipe out all the nay votes as game show contestants your at a 50/50 with the moderator who seems to have better eyes than you.

Among the advanced Allach collectors this is common knowledge.

Really?... I do not think you know what advanced Allach collectors know or think. Chicken Thief was done in bronze.

I think it sold at auction. It is disturbing that this was not discussed in Porrell's books and equally disturbing that such an obscure model leuchter could now be repro'd albeit crudely.

Result is a buyer got butt humped without a kiss, and the faker went a bridge too far and now you have to roll back.
