    Cufftitle Weave

I just wanted to confirm, this weave is fake, correct?

The rectangular weave is bad...which this isn't...but that does not automatically make it real.
I will leave that to the experts but at least its a good sign. 6 strands or 7 ?

It's 7 strand and does not react to black light. I looked closely at the bullion wire and it doesn't look like it's got a synthetic core.

The border seems strange ... the 'segments' aren't long enough ?

That's was one of the things that bugged me. Also, the borders on either side of the braid aren't as well defined as I'm used to.

The weave in the center is correct. It's not the "hounds tooth" variety.

An older fake or a crummy original?

Any other opinions. I want to make sure it's bad and stop a friend from making a mistake.

Here is a Close up of a genuine cuff title - now you can make your own opinion if you compare.

Yes I'm sure ETN knows what an original cufftitle looks like -
But I feel your rather missing the point as the center area looks okay ...
Therefore how can this be explained ?
What is it and why ?
Is this a plain SD CT he's wanting to buy ?
                  Regards David
