    Norwegian Front Fighter Badge Copy

I picked this up at the Pomona Show, as a copy. I feel comfortable with the original patterns in silver and zinc.

There was some discussion of post war pieces made for veterans who needed replacements. I do not know if this is true or not.

This copy is clearly die struck and the front is nicely frosted and burnished. The metal may be silver as I could not see a base metal color change in any of the corners. I know it is not a wartime piece, but it surely is well made. I would like to get further information about this copy and if it is a common reproduction or something a bit better.

I belive these origins from Germany in the 90s, they are rather thick compared to the original.

Bad copy. Originals never silvered and always stamped with the silver mark "830 S".
          Never seen this model before.
