No, completely different weight and style of stitching IMO.

C'mon guys, you should be advising me, not the other way round, this is not my area of speciality.

Here we go and and I knew this would happen.

Why is it not suspiciously the same in your opinion? Notice I said suspiciously and not identical.

Honestly, this just proves, in my opinion anyway, that most of you really don't know for sure either way.

In other words, most opinions are a load of bollocks.

Thank you for your patience. I see differences in thread color, length of the lock stitches, and the number of thread twist per unit length. I see differences tailoring and sewing style. The base twill is different too.

                      These are my honest observations.

Utter rubbish! the photos are not macro enough the distinguish individual threads "per unit length".

Do you claim to have bionic eyesight?

Exactly, we are all thirsty and want to drink but now learn that many of the wells have been poisoned,

I am too but also sick to death of charlatans claiming that they are the ones to listen to.

"the number of thread twist per unit length" !

Oh yeah, like anyone can tell from the photos posted so far!

Tell you what guys, do you believe Mr. Bionic eyesight or your do you believe me?

Here are some photos I took recently of a sword using a digital microscope.

                            Make up your own minds!

                              No?

Ok, that's another few hours of my life wasted then.

I used to really like this forum but now I'm just trying to get to 10,000 post land mark with some sort of pride and integrity before I die.

All the covers shown in this thread are modern made from original fabric.
